Put all my fears to rest when I called before going over to this location to switch my license from the other end of he country. Kim was also quick and super nice at the counter. Keep up the good work. You guys are nothing like what is New Yorkers are accustomed to
Very friendly and amazing service
We live much closer to two other licensing offices, but we drive to this one in North Bend because the people there are so friendly and helpful. Plus, this one that actually smells good! It's not the Ritz, obviously, but it's clean and tidy and well-lighted, and it's in a part of town that feels safe.
All of the ladies who work customer service there seem nice, but we wait extra time for Donnareed, who feels more like a friend or trusted neighbor than just another customer service agent. Even when it's busy there, she manages to be overtly friendly and still process people through quickly and efficiently. There are only 3 windows there, I think, but the number of people these ladies process when it's busy is amazing. There's a smallish waiting area, and somehow they keep it from being chock-a-block full of people--and still remain friendly.
I've been warned from bringing my kids here to take their on-road driving test. Apparently, the road test examiner takes test candidates over deliberately tricky spots that even seasoned, successful drivers can easily miss. I'm all for keeping unsafe, unprepared drivers off the road, but from what I hear, these are not spots that test one's driving skill but one's power of observation--or even one's luck. We'll pass. But we'll come here for everything else.

We came in to register our truck with our two boys (5yo and 2yo). There was no line and we were helped right away. While we started our process a very friendly staff member came out and brought shark stickers for the boys to help them pass the time, they promptly stuck them on their foreheads and ran around pretending to be sharks.
Another staff member helped us get our Washington Licenses was patient, courteous and helpful. We were in and out of the office with all business completed and happy kids within about 25 minutes.
Fast and friendly
In and out in less than 40 mins. Everyone was so friendly. It definitely made going to the DOL a good experience.
