Cherene and Matt are the Founders and Directors of the North Bend Yoga Shala and are certified teachers at the 5000 hour level. Together, they opened the Shala (school) in 2001 and have built a community of yoga in the Snoqualmie Valley. Cherene and Matt have 35 years of experience teaching the art and science of yoga. The North Bend Yoga Shala is a registered school with Yoga Alliance and offers public classes, private sessions, restorative work, therapeutic yoga, meditation and teacher training. The North Bend Yoga Shala community is comprised of students from Yakima, Tacoma, Bellevue, Sammamish, Issaquah, Bellevue, Renton, Carnation, Snoqualmie, Seattle and North Bend to name a few.
