Located along the Snoqualmie River, Sandy Cove is a cozy natural spot with an open grassy area for picnics or relaxation.
Due to this park's proximity to the river and unstable bank, the City advises parents to keep a close eye on children while enjoying a picnic under the large trees.

My old thinking spot. I love sandy cove. Such a relaxing spot.
Very pretty setting. Not big but nice.
A nice, quiet green space. The kids and I stopped here to eat lunch. A few picnic tables, although most are in the sun, lots of grass too (but also plenty of goose poop). The water is beautiful to watch, but no way to really get down to the shore etc.
Nicely, open park right on the Snoqualmie, with beautiful mountains in the distance. If you drive about a mile east towards north bend, you may catch a sight of hundreds or thousands of elk on each side of the highway.
I love this place. It's a great little place to get away from the hustle and bustle. And to go up and check out the falls
