Nice little cafe, good food, remarkable cherry pie
So today was a day of unusually good desserts. Stopped in for lunch at Twede's Cafe, apparently it was featured regularly in the TV show Twin Peaks. Very good burgers. Simple, made the old fashioned way, with a good sear and buns toasted on the griddle. Fries made of real potatoes. A little expensive, but I've spent more on way less tasty burgers, so worth the cost. Leave room for a piece of cherry pie. Obviously homemade, great crust, and the filling has just the right mix of sweet and tart cherry flavor.
Twin Peaks diner!
Just had to go here for brunch after staying at the lodge. Lovely staff and great food. So cool to recognise the place from the show. A must. Loved it.
Excellent cherry pie, best ever.
JHad to stop as my daughter and son-in-law were both Twin Peaks fans. According to my husband who is a cherry pie expert, the Cherry Pie was excellent. Coconut cream pie was good too. Food was delicious and a lot of it. Owner was very informative about Twin Peaks and we had a good time discussing it.
